Groen Brothers Aviation is developing a turbine-powered version of its Hawk 4 four-seat gyroplane. The Jet Hawk 4 will be powered by a 310kW (420shp) Rolls-Royce 250, in place of a 260kW Teledyne Continental TSIO-550 piston engine. Soloy has performed the installation and flight tests will begin soon. US certification will follow that of the Hawk 4, set for next year.
