Gulfstream is beefing up its sales team in Latin America with the appointment of Chilean business aviation services provider and G150 operator Aerocardal as sales representative for the country.
“We’ve seen consistent growth in Latin America in the past five years, with more than 180 Gulfstream aircraft in service in the region,” says company senior vice-president, worldwide sales and marketing, Scott Neal.
According to Flightglobal’s Fleets Analyzer, Latin America is home to the full spectrum of Gulfstream business jets, from 19 out-of-production, large-cabin GIIs to 10 ultra-long-range G650s.
Mexico has the largest installed base of Gulfstream types in the region, with a fleet of over 60, Flightglobal records, followed by Brazil and Venezuela.
