Gulfstream has selected Chelton's HGA-6000 high-gain Inmarsat satellite communications antenna for optional installation as part of its Broad Band Multi-Link cabin communications system on the G450 and G550. Designed to minimise blockage of Ku-band signals, the antenna can be co-located in the fintop radome with a satellite television and/or broadband satcom antenna.

Two aircraft are being modified for testing, with certification in the G550 expected by year-end and in the G450 by the second quarter of 2005.
