The Greek Government has dropped plans to sell a 49% stake in state-owned Hellenic Aerospace Industry. A consortium made up of BAE Systems, EADS and Alenia were competing against a group including Dassault Aviation, Thomson-CSF and Snecma. Finance Minister Yannos Papantoniou says the bids were very low and claims that both proposals have suffered from "serious legal problems".
