Launch Arianespace is to launch its second commercial Ariane 5 ECA rocket with its heaviest payload yet, at 8.3t, on 26 May. The payload consists of two satellites, Satmex 6 and Thaicom 5 telecommunications spacecraft. Arianespace chief executive Jean-Yves Le Gall expects the company to have six Ariane 5 launches this year.
