Vietnam Helicopter Corporation has placed an order for two Bell Helicopter 505 Jet Ranger X light singles.
The operator will use the helicopters for multiple missions such as tourism, utility, as well as search and rescue, says Bell in a statement.
The helicopter manufacturer did not give a delivery timeframe.
Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that Vietnam Helicopters has 24 in service helicopters. These are mainly Russian Helicopters Mi-8/17s, and a variety of assets from Airbus Helicopters. The average age across its fleet is 15.2 years.
It has no assets from Bell Helicopter.
