Recently formed Cypriot holiday airline Helios Airways has upgraded its fleet with the delivery of the first of two Boeing 737-800s on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). The year old airline will operate the new aircraft on its European network from Larnaca and Paphos, replacing a 737-400 which is scheduled to be returned to GECAS. A second -800 will arrive next month.
