The president of state-owned Hellenic Aerospace Industries (HAI), Eleftherios Moschopaedis, has resigned. Company sources say that Moschopaedis blamed bad management, delays in important projects such as a Eurofighter Typhoon purchase and "embellishment" of financial results as reasons behind his departure decision. HAI was due to be the final assembly site for Greek Eurofighters. Reductions in the defence budget have considerably delayed privatisation of the company.
