Preliminary reports indicate that a passenger aircraft has crashed in northeastern China.
The reports, from the official Chinese news agency, state that the aircraft had 96 occupants and came down near Yichun City at around 22:10.
Details remain sketchy but the agency is citing Henan Airlines as the operator of the aircraft.
Henan Airlines was formerly known as Kunpeng Airlines. The carrier uses Embraer 190 aircraft, although the type involved in the accident has not been identified.
