Hong Kong Airlines has firmed its tentative order for 10 more Airbus A330-200s and the conversion of 15 previous A330s to A350s.
While a preliminary agreement was signed at the Farnborough Air Show, Airbus has today confirmed the finalisation of the contract.
Delivery of the new batch of A330-200s will begin in 2012. The first A350 will arrive in 2018.
Hong Kong Airlines has not disclosed an engine selection for the A330s. It has largely chosen the Rolls-Royce Trent 700 for its A330 fleet, although it also agreed earlier this year to acquire a batch of Pratt & Whitney-powered examples.
