Hong Kong private jet operator MetroJet has added a Gulfstream G650 to its fleet, the first such aircraft registered in Hong Kong.
“The addition of the G650 to our fleet is a major milestone for Metrojet,” says chief executive Bjorn Naf. “It will be the ‘first of type’ in Hong Kong, and it also means that across our fleet of diversified aircraft, we are able to offer our clients the most complete business aviation range in Asia.”
Metrojet, which operates and maintains private aircraft, adds that it has also opened a 25,000 square foot storage area at Hong Kong’s freight forwarding centre, which will allow it to better service aircraft throughout the region.
