Roxanne Austin, corporate vice-president, treasurer and controller of Hughes Electronics, of Los Angeles, California, has been elected senior vice-president. She was formerly a partner at international accounting and consulting company Deloitte & Touche. John Weaver, corporate senior vice-president of Hughes Electronics, has been elected corporate executive vice-president. Weaver, a former US Navy Rear Admiral, joined Hughes in 1990.
