The Colombian air force is to receive a secondhand Boeing 767-300 converted for tanker and VIP transport duties by Israel Aerospace Industries. The deal will build on a recent contract worth $230 million, under which the company will also supply Colombia with 24 ex-Israeli air force Kfir fighters and upgrade some of its existing inventory of the type. Israeli sources say the 767 will be equipped with a hose and drogue refuelling system.
