Rockwell Collins has established integration teams to plan the absorption of Sony's Trans Com in-flight entertainment division into Rockwell's IFE system. Rockwell, which announced the plan in April, believes approval for the deal is "close". Teams of Rockwell and Trans Com personnel, are faced with supplying two competing widebody IFE systems, Rockwell's TES and Sony's P@ssport.
