ICE Corporation, from Kansas, USA  is demonstrating its new motor control technology for brushless DC motors.

Its radial vector method gives either 15% greater power from an existing motor or a weight reduction of 15% on new motors.

With the “more-electric” aircraft becoming a growing reality ICE hopes that its new technology will find favour with aircraft companies trying to save weight.
ICE has recently been involved in projects with Rolls-Royce, Meggit, Cessna and Parker-Hannifin.
