Visitors to ILA can learn more about the online facilities available from the air traffic control organisation DFS (Deutsche Flugsicherung) using a terminal on the DFS stand.
These include the AIS portal and the VFReBulletin with the latest, graphically-displayed NOTAM information for flights taking place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There is also a DFS Aviation Shop where you can order aviation publications.
When filing a flight plan online users can now state whether they need immediate advice on preparing for their flight.
For IFR flights pilots receive the necessary NOTAM information after confirmation of the flight plan has been given by Eurocontrol.
