■ Boeing has been selected to provide Crew Exploration Vehicle windtunnel testing at NASA Langley Research Center, while New Jersey-based spacecraft and missile propulsion components company Arde is to fabricate and test composite pressure vessels for the CEV’s propellant pressurisation subsystem. ■ Japan will launch its next pair of information gathering satellites separately aboard H2A boosters in July and early 2007. ■ India’s X-ray and ultraviolet imaging astronomy satellite Astrosat will be launched by an Indian Space Research Organisation four-stage Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle during 2008.
