Italian firm Fratelli Laurieri hopes to grab a bigger share of the burgeoning market for healthier snacks and add to its roster of airline customers like Alitalia and Air France.
The company, which began as a family bakery in 1976, offers a range of bagged biscuits and baked bread-based products.
Export sales manager David Gray says as consumers are becoming more health conscious, airlines must changes their offerings to reflect this.
"Passengers want something better for them than a snack box containing a chocolate bar and a packet of crisps," he says.
