Aircraft cabin product developer SkyMax is exhibiting a number of its latest innovations for aircraft cabins on stand 6B62.
These include a new automated beverages trolley Sky-Tender, new glass for out-fitting aircraft cabins and an electronic cigarette.
SkyMax believes that its trolley, Sky-Tender, will redefine in-flight drinks service by making up to 20 different types of drink at the touch of button. Twenty small syrup pumps allow crew to serve the same drink from both sides of the trolley.
The new, light G.skyGlass for partition walls, doors, showers or mirrors in the aircraft cabin is a glass laminate which is composed of a high-strength interlayer and two 0.7mm thin panes of glass. Half as light as conventional glass it has the highest degree of splinter binding, and 5.34mm thick and weighing 6.86kg/sqm, it is practically as light as the polycarbonate used in aviation.
SkyMax says its Fumidus electronic disposable cigarette delivers "a turnover of ten
euros on three square centimetres of space on the tender".
