Piaggio Aero has received approval for a new maintenance programme for the P-180 Avanti twin-pusher turboprop from the Italian Airworthiness Authority (ENAC).

Piaggio Aero and Piaggio America will support operators through the transition to the new schedule, which is designed to simplify the scheduled maintenance inspections and reduce the number of time consuming maintenance tasks.

Stefano Dell'Amico, director of Piaggio's reorganised customer support group, says: "We are dedicated to ensuring the lowest cost of maintenance and the maximum utilisation of the aircraft by our operators and customers.
