Japanese navy takes its last H135 training helicopters

The Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force has taken delivery of its final Airbus Helicopters H135 training helicopters.

The 14^th and 15^th examples of the type were recently handed over, the company says. Deliveries of the H135 – designated TH135 in Japanese service – commenced in 2011.

Airbus notes that there are more than 80 H135s operating in Japan. Roles include emergency medical services, police work, news gathering, and VIP transport.
