A JetBlue Airways Airbus A320 blew out four tyres and experienced a brake fire while landing at Sacramento Airport today, resulting in injuries to five passengers.
The flight crew "elected to evacuate the aircraft via slides in an abundance of caution", says the carrier.
Flight 262 was operating from Long Beach with 86 passengers and five crew members on board, and had landed at Sacramento at 12:51hr.
"Five customers reported minor injuries and have been transported to local hospitals," says JetBlue.
