JetBlue Airways and Aer Lingus plan to expand their codeshare agreement to include JetBlue flights to Cleveland and Reno this spring.
Beginning 30 April, JetBlue will display Aer Lingus’ code on its flights between Boston and Cleveland, according to documents filed in recent days with the US Department of Transportation.
Then on 28 May, the New York-based low-cost carrier will begin displaying Aer Lingus’ codes on flights from New York John F. Kennedy International airport and Reno, Nevada.
The carriers’ codeshare agreement began on 1 April 2013, when JetBlue began displaying Aer Lingus’ code on flights from New York and Boston to destinations including Austin, Buffalo, Charlotte, Charleston (South Carolina), Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Orlando, Raleigh-Durham, Tampa and San Diego.
