JetBlue has extended an Airbus A320 heavy maintenance contract with Pemco World Air Services for up to five years.
The MRO will provide up to two lines of heavy maintenance for the carrier at its Tampa, Florida facility.
Pemco says the contract will support 200 jobs in Tampa and notes that it has completed nearly 250 maintenance checks for the carrier since late 2009.
Pemco’s Tampa facility measures more than 320,000ft2 (29,729m2) and can hold between 10 and 12 narrowbodies or up to six widebodies.
JetBlue operates 130 A320s, Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows.
