Lufthansa has contracted Joramco to complete C-checks on two Airbus A340s.
The Jordanian maintenance specialist says the heavy checks will include cabin modifications, and that two aircraft are be completed by the end of February.
Lufthansa typically employs its in-house technical division for the support of its fleet.
Locations at which base maintenance s conducted on A340s include Lufthansa Technik's Maltese and Philippine sites as well as Ameco Beijing, an MRO joint venture with Air China.
