The Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA) has taken delivery of the final New Piper PA-44-180 Seminole from its order of three. The aircraft is pictured at Malta International Airport on 25 December during a technical stop on its delivery flight.

The flight school is negotiating with New Piper for a fourth aircraft as it embarks on expansion plans that include the possible acquisition of Jordanian competitor Sun Air and a move into charter. The RJAA is the only flight academy in the Middle East approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration. The flight school recently ordered four Seabird Aviation Seeker SB7L-360 two-seater aircraft, which will be manufactured under a joint venture with Jordanian state-run King Abdullah Design and Aviation Bureau (Flight International, 16-22 December 2003).
