Kaman has signed an agreement to buy a German aerospace bearing manufacturing company and says the deal will be concluded by the end of July.
RWG Frankenjura-Industrie (RWG) specialises in the manufacture of spherical and ball bearings, rod ends, brushing and other components for aerospace use and will operate as a subsidiary of Kaman Aerospace. Paul Kuhn, president and chief executive of Kaman, says: "RWG increases Kaman's presence in European aircraft makers and complements our existing line of proprietary Kamatics bearings for aircraft and other specialised uses."
