Kestrel Aircraft has selected the Garmin G3000 touchscreen glass cockpit for its in-development Kestrel single-engined turboprop, but the US start-up is still seeking around $125 million in financing to bring the all composite, six-seat aircraft to market in 2017.
Kestrel is hoping to build the first prototype next year and fly the Honeywell TPE331-14GR-powered aircraft to the AirVenture show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in July.
