Korean Air (KAL) has revealed that it will start four new Airbus A380 services from June to October.
The first, a daily service between Seoul's Incheon Airport and Tokyo's Narita Airport, starts on 17 June, said a company spokesman. This is in addition to the 21 weekly services that the airline has on the route.
KAL will launch Incheon-Bangkok and Incheon-New York services in August, but has not decided on the frequencies. It will launch a thrice-weekly Incheon-Paris service on 26 September.
These are in addition to the SkyTeam alliance member's existing services to those cities, said the spokesman.
Schedules in Innovata show that KAL has 16 weekly flights on the Incheon-Bangkok route, 14 flights per week for its Incheon-New York service, and eight flights a week to Paris.
The spokesman said that the South Korea's flag carrier will take delivery of five Airbus A380s by end-2011. The remaining five on its order books will be delivered from next year to 2014.
