LAN Peru and CAE have started operating a new Boeing 767 full-flight simulator in a training centre near Lima's Jorge Chavez International airport that opened in 2012.
The 767 simulator complements an Airbus A320 simulator that is already in operation at the centre, says LAN Peru.
The airline invested $35 million in the training centre, which opened in October 2012.
The training centre can train more than 1,000 pilots and cabin crew a year.
