LanChile has ordered three additional International Aero Engines V2500-powered Airbus A319s for delivery in 2004, as the first of two previously ordered A319s is delivered to domestic subsidiary LanExpress. LanChile already operates 14 larger A320s, four of which are flown by LanExpress and two by its LanPeru division. The new 136-seat A319s will replace Boeing 737-200s deployed on domestic and regional routes. The second is due for delivery imminently
