LATAM Airlines Group has mandated this year’s Airbus A321 deliveries with a consortium of four banks.
The group selected Commerzbank, Credit Agricole CIB, Natixis and Societe Generale to fund nine A321s with commercial debt facilities.
The banks are joint mandated lead arrangers and underwriters, says a source.
The aircraft are to be delivered between May and December.
Last month LATAM decided to fund its Airbus A321 deliveries with commercial debt rather than with export credit support, says one banker.
The group initially approached the banking market on 30 December 2013, asking for export credit-backed and commercial loan proposals covering eight new A321s.
