The Latvian government and privatisation agency have given the go ahead for Baltic International USA (BIUSA) to set up a new Latvian flag carrier in a joint venture with SAS, according to BIUSA. The move means Latavio will close or be reduced to charter only. SAS refuses to confirm its involvement.
