The US Aircraft Electronics Association is offering a series of workshops in dealing with hazardous materials and dangerous goods, organised in partnership with Washington Aviation Group.

There will be training related to aviation applications, using aviation industry examples and case studies.

Employees of facilities such as repair stations should check whether they need training under Federal Aviation Administration regulations, which normally require initial training for hazmat employers and then recurrent training every few years.

FAA rules state that, with rare exceptions, all air agencies are considered hazmat employers. Workshops will be held in Miami, Florida; Dallas, Texas; and Reno, Nevada over the next six months. Visit www.washingtonaviation.com/hazmat
