Eleven people were killed when a Libyan air force Antonov An-26 crashed in Tunisia on 21 February.
The aircraft, which is reported to have suffered an engine failure, came down near Nianou, around 20nm (37km) away from Tunis Carthage airport, during darkness. All six crew members aboard, plus three medical personnel and two patients who were being transferred to a hospital in Tunis died.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online Fleets database identifies the destroyed aircraft as carrying registration 5A-DOW, which entered service in 1982.
The accident leaves the Libyan air force with two operational An-26s, says Ascend, with another example flown by service affiliate Libyan Air Cargo.
