Lithuanian maintenance specialist FL Technics has opened a line station at the UK's regional Bristol International Airport.

Alongside base maintenance, the firm, which is a division of Avia Solutions Group, wants to offer A-checks on Boeing 737-300s.

Over the past year, FL Technics has expanded overseas to include operations in Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Italy and Poland.

"Launching the Bristol station is a major step in reinforcing our presence in Europe," says director Jonas Butautis.

"We're planning to open such stations at other UK and continental airports with an annual traffic of more than half million passengers."
