Ed Phillips has been appointed vice-president for operations at Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, of Marietta, Georgia. He replaces Bill Bullock, who moves to Fort Worth, Texas, to become executive vice-president for Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems. Phillips, who joined Lockheed in 1960, was most recently director of operations for the F-22 team programme office.
