Russia’s Vnesheconombank has agreed a financing co-operation agreement covering the delivery of Sukhoi Superjets to Mexican customer Interjet.
The memorandum of co-operation was signed at the MAKS Moscow air show, says Russian aerospace firm United Aircraft.
It says that the partners, which include Sukhoi’s civil aircraft division and marketing arm Superjet International, will organise project financing through “credit and leasing” for delivery of 10 aircraft.
The aircraft will be customised at Superjet International’s facility in Venice.
Vnesheconombank has previously participated, as part of a consortium, in an agreement for the financing of 20 Superjets for Interjet.
