-British Airways low-fare division Go has taken delivery of a 737-300 on lease from Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management. The aircraft was previously operated by BA's French division, Air Liberté.

-Lufthansa's recent order for 10 Airbus A340-300s includes options on an additional seven A340-300s. The airline also has 11 A340-600s on order.

-Virgin Atlantic has placed two more orders for the Airbus A340-600, taking its firm orders for the Rolls-Royce Trent 500-powered aircraft to 10. Virgin, which retains eight options for the new A340, will take delivery of the newly ordered aircraft by 2004.

-Airborne Express has taken delivery of its first Boeing 767-200PC (package carrier), equipped with a main deck cargo floor and cargo handling system. The aircraft is one of 12 ex-All Nippon Airways aircraft being converted by Timco.

-Danish Air Transport ordered a new Beech 1900D for delivery next month, and has taken options on two more.

-Gill Air is finalising a deal arranged by Cabot Aviation to acquire two ex-Midway Airlines Fokker 100s early next year to enable it to expand its Air France franchise operations.

-LTU is boosting its Airbus A330-300 fleet to seven aircraft, with the leased ex-Malaysia Airlines Pratt & Whitney PW4168-powered example from International Lease Finance (ILFC) on a 29-month term with extension options. This is one of two aircraft that had been under evaluation for lease by Qatar Airways.

-America West has introduced its first of 22 Airbus A319s, and will take two more of the aircraft later this year, with all 22 in service by the end of 2001.

-Trinton Aviation Services has placed one of its two ex-Air India Boeing 747-200Fs with Tower Air.

-Fortis Aviation has placed an ex-US Airways Fokker F28 Mk 4000 with US regional Horizon Air.

-Jet Airways of India has leased three new Boeing 737-800s from GE Capital Aviation Services.
