All Nippon Airways cargo operation Nippon Cargo Airlines is finalising the purchase of three Boeing 747-400Fs for delivery in 2005 and 2006. Two aircraft will be delivered in the third quarter of 2005 and the third in 2006, and all will be powered by General Electric CF6 engines. WestJet Airlines of Calgary is to order seven more Boeing 737-700s for delivery in 2005, to enable it to retire its older 737-200s earlier than planned. WestJet says it will retire three 737-200s in 2005 and will review "various options available" for the replacement of the three aircraft and the remaining 15 737-200s it will have in its fleet at the end of 2005. GE Capital Aviation Services has placed five new Airbus A320s with Azzurra Air, for delivery from March 2004. Azzurra is to return two Boeing 737-700s that it leases from GECAS.
