Mesa Air Group has firmed up 20 of its 40 options for Bombardier CRJ700/900s, for delivery through to the end of 2005. The new CRJs will operate the airline's feeder contracts with United Airlines and America West Airlines. French Polynesian flag carrier Air Tahiti Nui has ordered another Airbus A340-300 to enable it to launch services to New York and Sydney. The aircraft is due for delivery in June 2005. BWIA West Indies Airways has signed a lease deal for a second Airbus A340-300, for delivery this month. The ex-Virgin Atlantic aircraft will be deployed on the carrier's services from the Caribbean to London Heathrow and Manchester. TNT Express is adding five Boeing 737-300 freighters to its European network, after signing a five-year lease deal with GE Capital Aviation Services.
