Marshall Aerospace is expanding its facilities at its wholly owned Cambridge airport in the UK.  It will be adding additional hangar space and service facilities.

It is investing £5 million ($10 million) in facilities that will include integrated fixed base and maintenance services. In addition, there will be customer lounges on two levels, flightcrew sleeping quarters and quiet rooms, planning and weather centres and catering facilities for passengers and aircraft.

The development will include a new 2,300m2 (25,000ft2) hangar adjacent to the FBO and MRO facility with space for customer fleet offices.

The new facilities will be fully adaptable to incorporate further growth and change by using specific construction and design methods. The FBO will also have bookable overnight or day cabins and conference rooms.

Already into the first phase of the development it is planned to have the new hangar and facilities open for operations in the first quarter of 2008.
