Fort Pierce, Florida-based Micco Aircraft has received US certification for its SP-26 light aircraft, an uprated version of the SP-20 two-seater certificated in January. The SP-26 is powered by a 195kW (260hp) Textron Lycoming IO-540 and has UPS Aviation Technologies Apollo avionics as standard. The SP-20 and -26 are based on the vintage Meyers 145 light aircraft.
