The UK has brought its microlight definition into line with other European Joint Aviation Authority countries. The new definition defines a microlight as an aircraft with a maximum take- off weight at 300kg (660lb) for a single-seater aircraft, or 450kg for a two-seater. Stalling speed at the maximum weight authorised is 35kt (65km/h).
