RSK MiG is redesignating the MiG-29OVT as the MiG-35 and will make it the standard production model to supersede the MiG-29M1/M2. General director Aleksei Fiodorov says the MiG-35 is being offered to India. The new model has vectored thrust, a modified digital fly-by-wire flight-control system and the Tikhomirov NIIP Bars-29 phased array electronically scanned radar.
