A MiG21 fighter pilot and six soldiers have been tortured and killed by Pakistan according to India which is protesting about "grave breaches" of the Geneva Convention.
It says Pakistan tortured and killed one Indian air force pilot and six soldiers captured during the fighting in Kashmir.
An Indian foreign ministry statement said yesterday (Wednesday) that Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner in New Delhi had been summoned and handed the protest.
Pakistan has denied torturing or killing any of the seven Indians and described New Delhi's accusations as absurd.
