Although Embraer's EMB-145SA Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft rolled out on 28 May, it had its first flight on 22 May. The flight lasted 2h 30min, with the aircraft flying at 20,000ft (6,000m) . The Brazilian Government will receive the first of five on order in January 2001. Greece has also ordered the aircraft.
