Loral has been awarded a $33 million US Army contract to produce a final 50 Army Tactical Missile System Block I missiles to be delivered by July 1997. The follow-on Block IA will have a greater range. The company has also received $31 million from the US Army to continue engineering and manufacturing development of the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) missile.
