Blue Moon Aviation will be the first North American company to operate the Airbus A319 in a business jet charter operation, following a long-term lease agreement with Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE).
The 56-seat aircraft will be used by the Minneapolis-based company for VIP charter operations,with customers drawn from among professional and collegiate sports teams, corporations and the entertainment industry.
SALE will deliver the aircraft in July, with VIP cabin reconfiguration to be carried out at EADS subsidiary Sogerma Services, before service entry in September.
SALE also announced at the show that it has signed contracts with Italian independent airline group Volare for the medium term lease of two new IAE V2500 powered A320 aircraft.
