Two more suppliers have been picked by Boeing to provide systems for the 7E7. UK-based FR-HiTemp, which is part of Cobham's Aerospace Systems Group, will supply fuel pumps and valves. The equipment will support fuelling and defuelling, transfer of fuel from tanks to main engines and auxiliary power unit, and fuel jettisoning. FR-HiTemp is a long-time supplier to Boeing programmes, and has recently been involved in retrofits on the 747-400.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Sundstrand will provide the primary power distribution system. The US company has won the contracts to supply the aircraft's environmental control system, electric power generating and start system, the remote power distribution system and auxiliary power unit. Including the new deal, which will provide the system to control, protect and distribute electrical power on the aircraft, Hamilton Sundstrand's involvement has a potential value above $5.5 billion over the life of the 7E7 programme.
